Recreational cottage near the Danube on the outskirts of the village of Radvaň nad Dunajom.
Are you looking for a weekend cottage for relaxation? Do you enjoy spending your free time in nature or by the water? This cottage is the perfect place for weekends! It is located near the forest and just a few hundred meters from the Danube, in a quiet environment on the outskirts of the village of Radvaň nad Dunajom. Water enthusiasts, fishermen, and cyclists will find their place here, as the Danube itself and the gravel beaches along the river offer various recreational opportunities, as well as the international cycling route Eurovelo 6, which connects the town of Komárno with Štúrovo and continues further to the Black Sea. The cottage stands on a flat plot of land with a total area of 175 m2, on which there is also a tool shed. The cottage consists of two floors. On the ground floor, there is a garage, hallway, bathroom with toilet, kitchen, living room, from which an open staircase leads to the upper floor to a gallery, where there are two rooms and a balcony. From the garage, doors lead to the underground original stone vaulted cellar from the year 1800. A covered terrace has been added to the cottage. Water is supplied from the original drilled well. Electricity is connected to the cottage. A flat asphalt road leads to the cottage from the main road. The center of the village is about 1 km away, where you will find basic civic amenities. Free time in the area can also be spent visiting the district town of Komárno, the thermal swimming pool in Štúrovo, or the wellness center in Patince, which is only 5 km from the cottage. Virtské Lake is 2.7 km away, which is a paradise for fishermen; scenic boat trips can be taken from the Marina port on the Danube, as well as transporting vehicles by ferry to the opposite Hungarian side of the Danube, where the Gerecse mountain range stretches with many hiking trails and botanical gardens. A visit to the nearby Hungarian town of Tata or Esztergom is also worth it.
